The Ark Foundation boldly supports veterans and law enforcement in need, sharing the love of Christ to restore or develop hope, faith, and purpose. Through life’s battles, we guide those who have served us, to healing and strength in Jesus.

Mental health conditions are common in the United States. According to the National Institute of Mental Health, nearly one in five U.S. adults live with a mental illness (46.6 million in 2017). More than 1.7 million Veterans received treatment in a VA mental health specialty program in fiscal year 2018.

There are an estimated 300,000 post-9/11 veterans who have psychological wounds, namely, post-traumatic stress disorder and traumatic brain injury. - CombatWounded.org

Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst. (John 6:35)

how does it work?

  1. cohort is formed

Veterans and law enforcement personnel will work through this program with a group of like-minded individuals. Our team will reach out to set a start date, and provide all details for the program.

2. 8-week program

Members will participate in weekly meetings and studies with their cohort and our team.

3. excursion

Following the 8-week program, each cohort will embark on an excursion to a remote destination.

  • Zero-cost to members of the cohort.

  • 4 day/3 night

  • Celebrate recovery and a step in a new direction.
